About the CEO and Co-Owner

Constance Rogers

Chief Executive Officer of Harmony 1, LLC

      Harmony 1, LLC -Developmental Disabilities Supportive In-Home Services was founded by Constance Rogers, CEO, and Arthur Rogers, Co-Owner, in 2020. Constance has devoted much of her career to working with individuals with developmental disabilities for 25 plus years. She started her career with Arc of the Virginia Peninsula (now named VersAbility Resources), in Hampton, Virginia, as an as-needed staff (PRN). She has also worked with several Community Service Boards.  On July 1st she retired from the City of Virginia Beach Community Service Board, after serving 15 years under their leadership.

It has been a great joy to support and care for individuals with ID/DD developmental disabilities in several capacities. It is a great fulfillment to be a part of the lives of so many individuals assisting and serving in whatever capacity needed.”

     Constance holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Christopher Newport University, a master’s degree in Public Administration from Strayer University, and an Executive Graduate Certificate in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. She grew up in North Carolina and during her high school years, she moved to Virginia where she met her husband, Arthur. 

     Arthur is the full-time Senior Pastor of New Life Church – Hampton, Inc.  He is a retired Shipfitter for Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries.  He graduated from Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Virginia, with certifications in Leadership. Pastor Arthur Rogers and Constance Rogers have raised two children, Nekitell (Nikki) and Vermond.  They have one grandson, Rhythm.

     Harmony 1, LLC in Newport News provides services to individuals in the comfort of their own home throughout the Hampton Roads area. Harmony1, LLC supports children age 6 years and up, adolescents and adults.
